did anyone else begin to have migraines with auras... symptoms very similar to a mini stoke or TIA when they got pregnant because of the change in hormones?? if so, what did you take to relieve the pain???

very scary situation, numbness in one arm... cant talk straight... seeing lights and things move in the corner of your eye..dizziness.. thank god it's just a migraine though. but yeah back to the question, what'd you do for pain? and how often did it happen to you?

This happened to me before, during, and after pregnancy. I know, it's very scary and debilitating. Honestly, I didn't do much, but go to bed. I am a less is more kind of person. Sometimes I would take Tylenol, but ask your doctor before you take ANYTHING just be sure that it is safe for you. Good luck.

There's so much going on with hormones in your body that only a specialist should be answering! Mercilon is contra-indicated in many cases so I'd definitely be discussing that with your doc. Mention the epilepsy again if only to have your mind put at ease. Don't panic - sometimes people do get occasional migraines out of the blue. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOD) is one of those generic terms for a bunch of problems - without knowing medical history it would be dangerous to comment further, Good luck..

That sounds like a migraine, and pregnancy can certainly set one off, but you can't take any medication before seeing a Dr in the ER. Now!!

See a neurologist that deals with migraines and they can give you medications to help and not harm your pregnancy. these are also some of the symptoms of petite seizures.
I have the seizure and my daughter has the migraines.]
Keep an eye on blood pressure and visit Dr, soon!!! asap.===

Honey you need to call your doctor about those symptoms. As for the pain, if tylenol don't help tell your doctor, they can write you something stronger. I have bad headaches and back problems and had to take Vicadin with all my pregnancies.
