Hi Mary,
I too would be concerned about this... As you know, I think your hubby is a very lucky man to have a wife who luvs steam ironing his rayons. I'm sure he doesn't mind that you ruined them; I know I wouldn't mind if you ruined mine as the thought of you gliding your iron over my clothes would be enough to render me helplessly yours.

how hot was your iron? usually you can't iron rayon and nylon should only be use wiht a very low/warm setting not super hot. most rayon and other acetate type fabrics must be hung dry or dry clean only.

Rayon and nylon cannot be ironed.
