It's Human Nature. Try to relive some of your first dates with your husband

There is an awful lot of temptation outside the home, at the work place, at the gym, at the country club, and certainly at the house of worship( don't get your dander up!), and political involvement. As the honeymoon wears off, and each takes the other for granted , opportunities rise which can be rationalized. This may be a phase or it could be serious. Then the moral self has to make himself or herself felt, sit back and analyze the situation and ask "Is it worth it?"

Entirely normal...and, also imperative that you not act on it.

A very close friend of mine told me that for a period of about three months she had a nearly insatiable crush on the bag boy at the local grocery store. She said it was completely insane, illogical, and dangerous, but she just couldn't get over the obsession. Finally, it passed and she looks back on it as absolutely crazy. She is so glad that she didn't do anything stupid and cause a major life and marriage crisis.

Sometimes our hormones...or whatever....cause us to go temporarily wacko, I guess. I can relate to what you are feeling, but believe me, it is better to resist, count your blessings, and get focused on something else. Just tell yourself, "This, too, shall pass."

think of things you can do with your husband or wife to spice up the marriage...a new bedroom idea..make a date, special night out every week...fix a candlelight dinner for 2...dancing afterwards or go see a movie together...life is short..enjoy your mate...go on a double date...always keep him or her in your thoughts..think of the things that attracted you to him or her....married 29 years and still love him very very much...bluedot
