It won't rust away, but it will mildew up on you if you don't get it dried out ASAP. Take it back and demand to talk to the service manager about it. They need to pay to have it cleaned and dried. The proper way to do it is to remove the seats and carpets. A good detail shop might be able to do it without removing everything, but normally, everything comes out.

The only thing you could sue for is cleaning cost. And since you left the shop with the car already, you are going to have a hard time proving that THEY left the window open, and not you, after picking up the car.

Either way, get it cleaned ASAP. Your car got rained on. It wasn't in a flood. It won't rust away. Just get it cleaned and dried and you'll be fine.

Replacing an interior can be expensive. If the shop left the window down, then they are responsible to roll them up if it rains.

Go back, tell them what happened, they may not have to completely replace the interior, but they are at least responsible for getting it dry and clean so it won't mildew.
