no need to be free.also i need to lacate an internal search engine to explore data base

WordPress is probably the best blog engine out there, although Blogger's engine is fine, too.

In re: a database search engine, without seeing your table structures or knowing the database platform or scripting languages you support, the question cannot be answered.

forget the name but there is a linux/php script language for forums that is SQL compatible for the database part. runs natively in apache.
