NO!! both colors are too neutral to be together (like brown and black) instead, try matching each color with one that "pops"--that is, its actual color.

examples:
-turquoise with brown
-deep purple w/ grey
-red w/ brown
-green w/ grey
etc.

Yes, A light grey with dark brown or vice versa. Sounds nice.

Yes they do. Don't listen to these gauche people, telling you its boring.
Its a refined and subdued combination, but with the right proportions 10%-15% gray 60% brown and 30% black it can look downright elegant.

Although the world...well at least the states, tends to have a penchace towards gawdy and flashy styles these days (tackiness that screams "LOoK AT ME!"), stand on your own. Any high fashion/style magazine will surely have something along the lines I am decribing. A brown jacket with gray fur collar for instance comes to mind.

I'd find a woman who was wearing these colors far more attractive than ANYONE in a red dress.

I would not put brown and grey together. They are both neutrals, and because one is warm toned (brown) and one is cool toned (grey), they are not a good match.

Only in steak with sauteed mushrooms.
Together, brown and gray make each other blah/boring.
Recommend gray with whites or black or even a deeper shade of gray.
Brown looks good with ivory, off white, tan or caramel.
