Liberal Democrats support issues that completely conflict with Christian morals. I'm really confused. Someone please enlighten me.

The Bible talks about helping the poor, not enabling the poor, there is a big difference. The Bible is also very clear about Homosexuality. I guess Liberals had God write a special Bible just for them.

If you are going to say there is a conflict at least mention what is the conflict otherwise your point is moot and I can answer by saying that Democratic party is not a church is a political party and groups people from all races, all religions, all social status, etc which I think is what Jesus would have wanted instead of a monolithic fascist party.

It's not about "supporting issues", it's about how you conduct the interactions and relationships in your life.

Abortion? Homosexuality? Jesus never says anything about these, but always rebukes those who would sit in judgement.

Capital punishment? Jesus is the poster child for why it's a bad idea.

Those in poverty? He said sell ALL you have, and give the money to the poor.

Healthcare? He healed without a license, but apparently very well. Never asked to be paid as far as I've read.

War and invading other countries? Can't recall his EVER having advocated a violent overthrow of anything. His only "weapon" was Love, and he wielded it well.

''yet whilst it is composed of unlawful immigrants the so talked approximately as christians are those that are so antagonistic to unfavourable illegals. I doubt if Christ might do an identical.'' incorrect. We Christians are talked approximately as to persist with the regulation of the land, till it compromises our faith. we are all predicted to persist with the guidelines. merely because of the fact somebody is broke or unfavourable, does not supply them specific privileges. And merely as in Biblical situations, one had to invite for help no longer purely impose themselves on somebody else. "i will see a non-christian liberal giving nutrition to a hungry unlawful immigrant." I doubt that, i've got considered the way Libs handle people who're distinctive. A Christian is one that follows Jesus Christ. This includes following the guidelines of the land and dealing for what you want, and keeping your loved ones by using stress. If I might desire to persist with the regulation of my united states of america, I anticipate others to do an identical. And if i flow to a distinctive united states of america, i may be predicted to persist with those rules too. I fail to work out what a pair of scissors has to do with this.

how can a true christian be a republican or conservative?

there are over 3,000 references in the bible to helping the poor, but somehow the conservatives and republicans never seem to focus on that...

Hasn't stopped any Republican whom claims themselves to be Christian, yet never practice what they've preached anyways.

Or am I wrong on that clear-cut fact?
