Hello The Girl kiba:

Directly, science is not necessary. The skills you pick up from learning science is useful every day. Very few people directly use algebra or trigonometry, but skills like problem solving, testing hypothesis, learning procedures, and other skills you pick up while studying science are useful every day in every job.

BTW, music is highly relational to mathematics and physics.

If you did take all these classes 1st year of HS, would you recall them three years later as a freshman at university?

School, as in all things, you need the bitter to appreciate the sweet. Your best bet is to take a broad spectrum of classes and find out about unfamiliar subjects.

An understanding of how the world works is always valuable. Cooking is chemistry. Music involves physics. My suggestion would be to intersperse courses you are not so interested in with courses you are interested in. That way you won't spend your first year struggling not enjoying what you are doing.
