FINALLY, SOMEONE WHO ACTULLY CARES ABOUT ANIMAL RIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I completeley agree with you. Fully. I have been trying to get everyone to stop using cosmetics that are tested on animals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! did u know that pantene, clairol, lancome, maybelline, leoreal paris, covergirl, are all tested on aniamls! For all of you who don't know what this means its when a company is so cheap they don't wanna pay extra to have computers that test the products. Instead, they force animals such as bunnies and dogs to eat their product to see if it harms them! Animals end up dying in the process. There are other alternatives to animal testing! computers, fake artificial skin, robots, etc. Why are we harming innocent animals????????? To find out more on this, go to www.caringconsumer.com
Here are some animal friendly cosmetic companies.
. Lush fresh products. www.lush.com
. benefit cosmetics www.benefit cosmetics.com
. the body shop www.thebodyshop.com
. there are many more!!!!!! go to www.caringconsumer.com to find out more.
For all of you out there that actully have a heart to care, spread the word! tell your mom, your sis, all your friends and family. SPREAD THE WORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! write a letter to the companies call them up, every bit counts. Don't say that one person can't change the world! think about when you get a pebble in your shoe. It may be small but it sure gets your attention! So SPREAD THE WORD, SPEAK UP AMERICA, SPEAK UP!!!!!!!!!!!
COVERGIRL, LEOREAL PARIS, PANTENE, CLAIROL, AND MAYBELLINE TEST THEIR PRODUCTS ON ANIMALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

I think its cruel, but I'm not gonna lie and say that I check to see if a company doesn't test their products on animals. I honestly have no idea and would like to know what cosmetics companies do to the animals while using them for testing. I just googled the brands that I use-Revlon, L'Oreal and MAC-and none of them conduct animal testing. I think it will be something that I look out for in the future. Still, I am kinda indifferent.

I'm not a vegetarian but I really think its useless to test on animals for make-up when there are many ways to test products now. Many of these animals tested for cosmetics are treated very unfairly. Beauty should not come with cruelty!

Animal testing is a horrible, cruel, but most of all unnecessary process that causes infinite amounts of suffering.
Imagine having chemicals smeared in your sensitive eyes or shoved down your delicate throat. Imagine the burning as your eyes rot away or your esophagus is torn up or your stomach lining burns away. Imagine holes burning in your skin.
This is the truth behind animal testing.
Look at the sources for companies that don't test on animals, and try to make the ethical, compassionate choice.

Some people think there are two choices:
Test on animals
Test on humans.
This is NOT true. In Europe there has been a development of artificial skin which we can accurately test products on. Yet this development has not been announced in the US, as Americans are seemingly not as product-educated as Europeans.
As an American I wish companies didn't think we were so stupid! I don't buy animal tested products!

I choose to use cosmetics companys that are peta approved. Medua's is my favorite. I feel that it is fine to test on animals for medical reasons that may save human lives but not to just help people look pretty.

I am against it, and I found a website that lists companies that test products on animals so I could be a better consumer. Imagine my horror to learn that my favorite makeup brand of all time, Lancome, tests on animals. I learned if you really want to be cruelty-free, be prepared to give up some of your favorite stuff.

I think it is stupid why can you just test it on yourself! I dont think that by testing makeup on yourself you can really get hurt tht easily, and it is alot less harmfull on us than it is on animals!
