Can you put in examples of the things those gods were thought to have invented or given to the human race? Here are some: Poseidon - horse, Athena - weaving, Hermes -flute, Prometheus - fire (maybe a match?), Hephaestus/ Hephaistos - metal work. Of course these things don't really prove that those gods existed, and few if any people today believe that they did, anyway, so I'm not quite sure why your teacher has given this exact assignment.

Are you sure you understood the assignment right because the Greek Gods & Goddesses are myths. You can't prove they existed BUT you can prove that Greeks believed they existed. Many examples of Greek Gods & Goddesses images survive. They were painted, sculpted, featured on coins, pottery, walls, floors, etc. Many stories and poems have been written about them and many surviving temples were dedicated to them. The possibilities are endless.
