My parents. I come from a large family, and as we grew up and moved on with our lives, Christmas was the one time we all went home for dinner. My mom passed away nearly 15 years ago, and I still miss her home made shortbread and mince tarts. The first year after she passed away my dad tried to do dinner, but it wasn't the same, and in the ensuing years he would have dinner with one of us kids. It's been just over five years since he died and with his passing, Christmas changed forever.

My dad who passed away 11 years ago right before Christmas and the family feeling that we had at the holidays before I was divorced. It is still good and has warm feelings attached, but it is not the same for the kids to be shuffled around at the holidays.

No, I'm kidding. I don't "miss" anyone around Xmas, unless it's a friend that's gone away on vacation. Xmas is a happy time :)
