I recently bid on an item on Ebay and won. I hadn't used the account in ages and had not thought about the fact that my old address was on there....

I don't live there anymore...will the post office know not to send my mail over there any more? I really want to get this package and I need to before Christmas.

change your address information on Ebay, and also contact the seller with your new address, maybe you can catch them before they ship your package........the P.O. may or may not remember that you moved.....especially if someone else lives there now.

If you haven't lived there in months or years, the package will not get sent to your new address unless the post office has a change of address form filed from the last 30 days I believe. Your best bet is to call the post office(s) that serviced your old address and explain to them the situation. They'll probably have you call back early in the morning when the mailman is still sorting mail to deliver. You can also suggest to have it re-delivered to your new address and then offer to pay the postage due. Do it before the person at your old place gets it and keeps it. Without delivery confirmation, there'd be no proof that they have yoru stuff. Good Luck!!!

If you put a change of address form in with the post office when you moved, they'll forward your mail for a while.

Even now, you can fill out a change of address form so the package gets forwarded. Ask at the post office counter.

I would go to the post office first thing in the morning and put in a change of address depending on how long ago you moved. The change of address is good for one year.

i'm sorry yet i individually do not see your project. while you're posting a parcel or an more desirable than basic envelope the post workplace only places it on the scales to make certain how a lot it weighs and asks you in case you want to deliver it first or 2d type, the guy value of the envelope would not come into it, you could deliver a letter in a plastic bag in case you tape it up suitable.

You should have changed your address on Ebay, it's going to be shipped to your old house. Contact the people who live in your old house and give em some money to mail it to you.

It'll take a little while longer if you havent filed a change of address form with them, but it will get there in the about the same amount of time.

You could go to www.usps.gov and do a change of address, though I would think you would have one on record from when you moved. Has it been a long time since you moved. Check it out.

contact the ebay seller asap and see if they mailed it out.

if so, contact the post office and ask what to do. Will it be returned to the ebay seller?
