Wouldn't the sentence "I want to put a hyphen between the words FISH and AND and AND and CHIPS in my FISH-AND-CHIPS sign" have been clearer if quotation marks had been placed before "FISH," and between "FISH" and "and," and "and" and "AND," and "AND" and "and," and "and" and "AND," and "AND" and "and," and "and" and "CHIPS," as well as after "CHIPS?"

There. 28 legitimate "ands".

I don't think it will take much to legitimately prove I am smart.

The fact is that by spotting a typo in your question legitimately proves my point.

Legitimately, I am smart by simply knowing how to spell l-e-g-i-t-i-m-a-t-e-l-y.
