I knew a boy once who`s name was Jesus, he was from Cyprus and apparently it is a common name there, so I cannot see it being a problem calling a teddy bear Jesus.

I suppose your daughter will be caring the teddy everywhere she goes. God is always in our heart and He is everywhere we go. I guess your daughter just needs a physical interpretation of this. In what better way than to be with a teddy. There soft, nice, and kind. But at the end it is all up to you for this kind of situation. Afterwards you will have to show your daughter that the teddy is not God. We don't want her to get confuse now lol. Just make sure she knows that even if the teddy is not around God is.

Are you referring to the teacher that got in trouble for letting her students name a teddy bear Mohammad? That was pretty dumb.
If my daughter wanted to name it Jesus I suppose it would be ok as long as it wasn't in a mocking way :) It's not like I could stop her though it's her teddy bear.

This is total blasphemy. You should both be sent to jail and wait till someone comes from Sudan to beg Gordon Brown for your release. In the meantime some of us will start a campaign to get you executed by marching up and down Epsom high street chanting 'Death to the Infidel'.

Yes of course, I'm sure she isn't planning on worshipping it, which would go against the religion. Its more of a sign of admiration. Some people might think it disrespectful, but as long as you or her does not feel that way then I'd say ok.

Yes. And if Jesus were executed in the 20th century, everyone would be wearing little electric chairs around their necks.
