Yep.. my bro-in-law works in the USA. He keeps an account with RHB, Malaysia.
Evry month he will TT some money for his parents via that account. The cost is much more lower... but it will take 1 week for the the money to be available in his Malaysia account.
previously, he uses the Western Union Money Transfer, it cost him huge amount of money, but very fast.

Yes. Your most common options would be some form of wire transfer service (such as Western Union) OR you can ask the recipient of the money for their banking information and you can do a bank-to-bank transfer from your checking/savings account to theirs.

The charges depend on which option you choose. Typically a bank-to-bank transfer will cost around $20 for the sender and about $10 for the recipient. Obviously that will vary depending on the banks involved.

I hope that assists!

If it would make them happy to do so, yes.

With the exception of countries where there are official financial sanctions in place (Cuba, Iraq, etc), Americans can send money anywhere they want to.
