Why do some get upset when you tell them you worry about/for them?

they think, that you think, that they are doing something wrong.

I get upset because I don't want them to think something is wrong or that I am having problems of some kind.

Because they feels as if you, do not think they can do anything buy themselves. or you see them as incapably to take care of themselves. it will also make them feel as a little child that needs to be looked after. that do not know what they are doing. so they see that as an insult.
