Do you get the holiday blues??? If so, what do you do?

There has to be a reason that you are blue around the holidays. Do you have family, kids, money to buy gifts. A lot of times lacking in these will cause depression around the holiday. If that is the case just make the best of it and be glad when it is over. This time of year is totally overrated anyhow. Most people seem to forget what is the real reason for the season. Yes. I have the blues..so, I am having a Holiday Open House & invited 90 people; hoping 45 show up...& so, the cleaning & organizing & cooking & baking &shopping for the party will keep me pretty occupied...until this madness of Christmas is over. I am not a big fan of the commercialism of this time of year. Too much pressure to be happy & to have a wonderful family; if you don't then you will feel so blue...

It's strange. I hear all about WINTER DEPRESSION.
As much as I dislike cold, I felt EXTREMELY GREAT after the first snow. So bright and positive!
Though it's easy for me to say that being inside at night...

I enjoy them very much!
If someone does get that winter depression they should really invest in one of those lights that mimic sunlight. It really does help people who get that
