FROM RELATED ARTICLE: THE GREENS MUST BE CRAZY

Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee (R) lashed out at "wacko environmentalists" who, he alleged, "want to tell us what deodorant we can use and what kind of gas to put in our car."

Last April, Huckabee, a Baptist minister, added a religious gloss to that assessment, telling the Arkansas Farm Bureau Federation that "environmentalists are those who worship the things He made rather than He who made them."

But when 44 public-interest groups accused him by letter of "demagoguery on a scale beyond that normally seen in the course of public debate," Huckabee issued a mea culpa. "It would have been more appropriate," he said, "if I made a distinction between environmentalists and those who could be considered `extreme' environmentalists."

This is the result of poor science on climate change and really depicts the need for debate amongst the appropriate scientists before a presidential candidate speaks like this. This is the problem with politics dictating environmental actions. If Huckabee is elected, there is no way he is giving the wackos any platform to tell him the deodorant to use or the gas to burn in his car.

Global warming is very real and what the Governor doesn't understand about the wacko environmentalists is that we are trying to tell him there is a 100% toxicity ratio in newborns which means a death sentence from conception.

The education on the issues is so poor, this minister is calling people wackos instead of understanding that in order for him to have good policy as a leader, the science has to be accurate.

The Governor's state, cities and development have a design flaw and UV is causing his jurisdiction to generate extreme heat on the surface of the planet. That changes weather and climate, economy, water, agriculture, health, etc. That seems pretty extreme and calls for the environmentalists from the extreme aisle.

The planet and environment on it sustains all life. It is creation or provided by why would a man of god call people trying to protect it wackos?

Back to school Mike. Go to http://www.thermoguy.com/globalwarming-heatgain.html and see advanced temperature imaging that shows UV causing extreme heat generation. It applies to Arkansas as well and this wacko environmentalist is telling him, this is extremely urgent.

Hhmmm, this is interesting.

Not long ago he made a speech on conservation, linking his activities as a hunter, boyscout and minister to promote environmentally friendly idealogy. He even went so far to say that God and the bible teaches respect for the earth.
I believe the speech was covered by Suzi Parker for the Economist.

I guess it depends who his audience is.

I'm not a big Huckabee supporter but compared to the rest of the lot he looks the best.

I'm more worried about his fiscal policies and position on the war which doesn't vary at all from Bush's.

Plus he's thin-skinned and petty. I don't know about Huckabee.

Mike Huckabee is a infant-kisser in the Bush experience of the observe. He does not have stable convictions on something. that's all up for grabs. He performs to despite constituency he's sitting in front of. He does not have the middle convictions of say a Reagan, Obama or maybe Hillary.

When you believe that this earth is simply a transition stage before eternal life, and that it is going to be destroyed according to the book of Revelations anyway, why would you support any environmentalist or conservation policies?

I'm sure he will find a way to say he was misquoted on this... he is just another Republican "run off at the mouth" type.
