maybe she was raped. many victims cant stand hugging or touching. a girl I know hates hugs. maybe she doesnt likes guys hugging her, but she is okay with her female friends hugging her.

Maybe, your friend doesn't like to be hugged. With you she feels comfortable enough to say, I don't like it.
With people who might take what she says the wrong way and get offended, she allows it.I'm going to start a new thread on people who hug and those who don't.

She might be feeling your hug too sensational and romantic. Or else, she might not be finding your approach too friendly. You are close to her and you only can decide which one of the above is correct.
