Do you often get your hopes up, and then have them crash and feel disappointed for thinking so grandiose?

Not any more. I learned a long time ago not to expect too much. If I would build myself up too much and then it didn't pan out, I would be very disappointed. So I learned from it.
I don't get my hopes up for anything anymore, I just enjoy the moment when it comes.
