I’m 14 and IM SOOOO addicted to sugar!
I crave it like crazy!
Ill be just sitting thinking of caffeine and sugar. and I admit its my stress reliever.
Its getting out of controol.
But when i try to stop.. I go through like a withdrawal
I get headaches and every thing, I cant handle stress and get real depressed.
Are their any suggestions on how I can quit eating so much sugar?
I know it’s unhealthy and ... I read somewhere that it can mess up your menstrual cycle and mine has been screwy. I actually skipped my period. And I’m wondering if 2 much sugar can really do this... could you please answer these questions

hmm.....moderation
try eating half as much and if that verys to much than just cut it down to a few cookies (or your chosen treat) and one or two
glasses/cans of soda a day. Try eating more fruits and vegetables(even if you hate vegetables ..cali{XD! i said it!! happy now ^^}>.>) and replace the soda you dont drink with water or some other liquid like hot tea(its good for you), and if you stop drinking soda altogether (eventually you caffine addict >.<) youll actally lose weight.

the process will take more than a few days because your addicted caffine is a baaad addiction.

no diet soda!!(its evil!!)

I have a similar problem (I'm not as extreme as you but I LOVE sugar) I tried to withdraw completely and I went a lil crazy. Start SLOW if you eat 3 candy bars a day eat 2 then decrease to one. Do other things to keep your mind off the sweets and eat fruits like apples, oranges, bananas and grapes. They're sweet but healthier and will help you out. BUT they have a lot of sugar too so don't just become addicted to fruit. You'll find a balance eventually =)

The withdrawal headaches, cravings, and depression WILL go away after like one or two days eating healthy foods--it's like you're on a roller coaster right now. So a few days of great willpower will pay off in the end.

I've never heard of too much sugar messing up your menstrual cycle, though being too heavy or too skinny can mess up your cycle.

Whoa there honey. Drink only one soda a day. No coffee, and no straight sugar. haha. Eventually you won't even need the soda every day.

Try eating something like an apple(it's sweet, but good for you).
