i had this idea....
a house church, no offering, just a bunch of neighbors, worship, and HELP each other!!! or help those we know NEED it.
networking on a "different" level.
i live in what i'd call a "typical" middle class neighborhood. there's "super"-churches popping up all over. i'm pretty sure this is NOT what Jesus would do. the average yahoo, having a say in what we do.... am i on to something here?

There are already a few like that out there. :) I have gone to one all my life that is somewhat like that. It would truly warm my heart to see more "churches" like the one you describe.

there are already churches like this out there. they are just so small you haven't heard of them, but i visited one with a friend that was held in the back room of a store each week, and that was back in 1991. if you post this on the religion section you will get a lot more answers.
