What are some good suburbs to live in? What city is the team's arena in?

The Ducks are in Anaheim.

Huntington Beach isn't very far (10 mi.) or so from the Honda Center. 405N ->22E -5N -> 57N should get you there unless you want to take surface streets.

There isn't really "suburbia" in S. CA, it's more like one big sprawl. Huntington Beach isn't bad to live in, if you like the beach, but there's also Seal Beach which is northof Huntington, then Newport Beach, which is south of Huntington. The Belmont Shore area of Long Beach isn't bad either but most, if not all of these places are beaucoup dollars to live.

If you go inland, Irvine, Tustin, Fullerton, Placentia, Yorba Linda and Orange are all nice places to live as well. Irvine is a bit more of a planned community so if you don't want everything looking uniformly bland, don't live there.

It's no longer the Mighty Ducks. It is the Anaheim Ducks. I don't know how far it is from Huntington Beach. But they play in Anaheim.

Anaheim is much closer to Huntginton Beach than Dallas. Why not try Yahoo maps? Eliminates that pesky "depends on what you call close" answer.
Good 'burbs, East LA is a hoot, as is Chino and Norwalk and .... Don't forget to pack heat.
