you know what, i think i am..no matter how hard I try not to be. (just kidding) I wonder if we all have a little hatred in our hearts for others based on color or ethnicity. Good question.

No I am not a racist as a racist is someone who has complete intolerance for another race for no valid reasons -- just hateful ones. However, it must be said that certain sterotypical things bother me about certain races -- just as I'm sure there are things about my race that bother others. Some of the things I do that may appear racist are aggravation with Asian drivers -- it just seems that 90% of the ones I encounter on the road just don't drive well. I also don't like African American's that continually blame society and the fact that they were once slaves for all of their problems. I am NOT saying all are like this -- but I do know some and it's tiresome. There haven't been slaves for hundreds of years -- time to let go of that anger. I want it known that some of my good friends are of both these races. I am simply generalizing here and being totally honest like the question asked.

No, I'm not racist. I don't like the attitude that many mexicans straight from mexico bring with them but that's some people and not others as with everything else. Every one has the right to live and function without being looked down upon. Really, what are people doing when they act like that towards others? They are putting themselves down at the same time. Most people in the world have multiple cultures and heritages behind them. America is a melting pot, putting someone else down is like being racist against your own exact race. That happens too, I know mexicans who don't like the mexican culture and call them scum without realizing they are putting themself down. It goes for white, blacks, everyone. So no, I'm not racist, people are individuals and deserve that chance to rise above the bad apples in any group.

Nope. I'm positive. I treat others like I want to be treated. In my work I care for all kinds of people and early in my career I worked in a maximum security prison medical dept. People are people. I have my favorite people, but the favoritism is based on friendship.

only if you count me being racist against racists...

=) My boyfriend is a Chinese-Indian mix, I'm German-Russian. I don't think race should ever get in the way of anything.

nope. i do however make many jokes, but i do that with every single race, and to my friends of other races. its hard for some people to seperate jokes and serious racism. so some people might call me racist, but i have many people i adore from other races, and i dislike certain people from each race, but more white people than any other race probably, just not the whole race = ]

No, I am not a racist, I believe that EVERYONE has the right to try and maintain their heritage.

I do not believe I should have to be a part of folks maintaining their heritage, nor do I believe I should have to pay for it.

We're all racists, it's a human trait. The question is how much and how well we can put those tendencies aside in either general or specific circumstances.

I think I have preferences. Today it is common for people to be accused of prejudice when it may just be a preference for a certain kind of behavior or cultural standard.
