i think a wolf can kill a lion if it was strong enought.
but my mom's boyfriend thinks a lion..

my boyfriend says a lion would win,why do you think they are called king of beasts,thats what he says, i say a wolf! i better get best answer. IM SURE!

I saw a film footage of a jaguar wrestling with a dog, and the comment was made that they were simply playing. The question was then asked of the expert: "How do you know they are simply playing? They LOOK evenly matched." the expert replied, I know they are only playing because the dog is still alive."

"Strong enough"... I could lift a 20-ton monument if I was "strong enough," but nature made me a human, and humans are not designed to be capable of such feats.
If you put the biggest lion in the world into a cage with the biggest wolf in the world, the lion would EAT the wolf, because killing lions is something that wolves are not designed to be able to do.

Well wolves hunt in packs so i would go with the wolves but if it was a lonely wolf against the lion then the lion would win hands down.

A lion would be much larger and weigh probably 3 times as much as the wolf, I agree with your mom's boyfriend. Remember, they both kill and eat their prey for a living but the
lion kills and eats much larger prey than the wolf. A wolf would never attack a lion unless he was in a pack, even then
a pack of wolves would suffer several casualties trying to kill even a single lion.

If you are talking about an African Lion, that wolf does not have a chance. But if it is a breed known as mountain lions, the wolf has an edge. If memory serves lions tend to hunt in packs, but wolves hunt alone.

lions are huge man, you must not be seeing the whole picture here, lions are HUGE and mean, the big mane on male lions is for protection, you cant get to their necks through all that hair
Lions are kings of the jungle for a reason, their some bad dudes!

sorry mate,but a single wolf v a lion is a no contest a lion would tear that wolf apart,when you consider a lion can bring down wilder beasts and other big game a wolf would be no trouble.
