My fiance and I just broke up recently. He left he with the apartment, past due power and gas bills, plus past due credit card bills, and no car. I work about 20 minutes away from here making $9/hr . My parents have told me to come home and shut off all the utilities and just pay everything off and start over... literally.

This is the last week my dad can let me borrow his truck, I get paid Friday but every bit of it will be gone to pay bills and such. I'll have to find a car and figure out if I'm moving out early or not.
If I go home my work travel time will be increased to an hour and a half. I'll have to leave everything I finally established as my home and start over again.
If I stay here, my lease will be up at the end of January and I'll have to find a roommate by then around here. Plus still pay off all the things I owe.

I'm at a dead end. I need some help....

I think that I would go home for now unless you can get a car to not lose your job. Are the bills in your name? Can you get a job at the same pay where your parents live? Driving an hour and a half each way for a $9 an hour job is just crazy. You are not at a dead end, it is just a large lump in the road. You can fix it faster at home. Get your bills paid off, get a car and start over. If you have past due bills from the two of you it is going to get ugly very quickly with just one income now. Can you stay with someone? Find a roommate quickly? If not I would go home and work hard to get back out on your own. Good luck.
