In UK and Australia - harassing = ha ra sing (the a is sounded as in hat)

no emphasis on any syllable

Old English . seldom heard except among the snoots is ha rass sing (again a as in hat) emphasis on the second syllable

Ha (as in Hat) -ra -sing. Brits accent the first syllable, Americans the second.
