Mock the spite
death couldn't possibly be worse than life
i've lived long enough to know
i've sensed deep enough to taste
death is freedom...
life is a lie..a cold consolation
life is just dying in repetition
death must be such a sweet escape
a quick exit..a clean break...
there could be pain..and struggle
but it's all fine..
an hour or less before the light
can't be so bad as living a vicious plight.
those who fear death have not known life.
suicide is triumph over life...to cede the fight
is an unquestionable mock to life's spite.

It's just depressing && morbid.
Makes life just seem so horrible and everything would seem so much better if death were nearer.
With life there is always death but wishing death before life is inhuman and unknown but it gives that quality to people who you always wonder about whether they are going to be there the next day. No one can tell you how you feel but some try whether it helps or not is up in the air.

it is good, but don't think of death an escape from misery, I was on the brink of death, and I am glad I didn't die. I have suffered a lot of pain and so has my family and friends, because of my near death experience. death is never an answer to a temporary low point in life. trust me I know. I wasn't afraid of death, but I got to say I glad I am still breathing. I can cheer you up if you want, anytime

I quite like it and everything I like gets banned so yeah, probably (I'm still looking at this little bag of cut and dried herbs, trying to work out how it will destroy society- it doesnt seem to do much, just lie there, and get burnt in bits of paper but it might be lulling me into a false sense of security).
Although I look at it another way- its Spite that stops me seriously considering topping myself - I want to get into every hostile face of every gimp thats held me down and go "Ha ha - look at me, the filthy little socialists done good!" Don't get soulful; get petty and childish.
Although having said that Death is good for tax avoidance purposes...

Some of the world's greatest poets wrote about death, the one inevitable fact of life. Personally, I don't agree with the concept that "suicide is triumph over life," because death is eternal and life ephemeral. But your poetry speaks for the poet, not for me and I admire the poem in and for itself, if not for the concept it expresses.

i think it is kinda disturbing but not 2 bad, just dont like the overall message, i think saying suicide is triumph over life is wrong, it is actually the opposite, its giving up a fight that can easily be won

Its not disturbing, maybe a little depressing, but everyone is entitled to their own emotions. It shows a deeply damaged soul looking for a way out. Did you write it? I think its very good.

Not liking this one. Too much mockery of life. Yeah I guess I'm taking this one too seriously but no one know's death that well. Life is all in what you see in it....... but now that I ponder it so is death.

it can be disturbing to people who aren't suicidal...i dont agree with it and believe me life has beaten me up and bitten me in the a**...its hard but its the good things in life that make up for the bad things ...im not going to get cheesy (ier) so if you want to kill yourself than go ahead...but you will most likely regret it... i say you change your views and enjoy life cuz really here things arent so bad if your the normal person...the only thing we deal with is anger, stress,politics,and worry. its not that bad...

Not as disturbing as I've hoped for. Ehhhh... I like it, though the whole suicide thing seems used up to me.
