I'm pretty sure it is. At least in my grandmothers case. She had been ill for the most part of her life, she had a lot of pain. She finally got to the point where she welcomed death. I believe it was a release for her.

Well, unless it is a sudden death, then I guess ppl get time to come to terms with it and many may find it a relief.

Many may also be scared witless.

My view?

Well, around 6 billion ppl have died before me, and I have heard no complaints from them.

Can't be that bad then.

i will give you a short version as ive seen more than my fair share of death.yes i think they know its comming and sigh in relief as they slip away.
