Yes it's possible to be in love with someone who doesn't love you in return.
I personally don't believe that a person can fall out of love; if they do "fall out of love" I think that at least 1 party in the relationship was never truly in love to begin with. Either that or someone wasn't willing to work hard enough at the relationship to make it last. Relationships aren't easy and unfortunately our society today makes it too easy to get out of something that is supposedly a lifetime commitment.
I do believe that true love lasts forever; my parents have been together for 34 years and they are happier now than they've ever been; my grandparents were together for 52 years before my grandpa died and now my grandma is still so in love with him that she won't even look at another man. My parents survived against all odds; they were married when my mom was 16 and pregnant and my dad was 19. The only thing that kept them together was their love for each other.

Beautifully broken is beautifully young. You can continue to be unrequited in love but it will fade, certainly as soon as someone else captures your attention. True love is a true convenience, so in that case of course it exists! But sometimes it's more convenient to fall in love with someone else. However, people are strange, so you never know.

Of course it is!
Our emotions are not dictated by us, let alone other people!
We can't just turn them on and off like a tap!
People can fall in and out of love, although true love will prevail!

One of the accomplishments I claim is that I have loved. I still love. This, for me, is an important accomplishment. Not how many have loved me.
But it is still of utmost importance to recognize yourself as one you can and should love and take care of. If loving another is diminishing you, then it is time to allow it to go.

Anything is possible. In a split second one could change their feelings for another, totally depends on the individual themselves as we are all so different.

Am I stupid? Absolutely. You do not fall, you are seduced. Love fades, you do not fall out of it, it falls out of you, or it trickles out, rather.
The Will is positive, the Judgment is negative.

yes, it is. love is really nothing more than sex drive and complex emotional attachment mechanisms. There are few who are coveted by many.
Forever? That is a dangerous word.
