First, they dont know whether tomko was going to wrestle
Second, Karen angle messes up a promo really bad (saying on live ppv that she saw scott hall with nash and joe)
Third, Scott hall is a no show
Fourth, Samoe joe goes into business for himself and messes up his promo
And finally, all the matches sucked!

Yet this is the same company who's "better" than wwe. This would NEVER happen in wwe.

For sure not a great TNA ppv, but not really Dixie or JJ's fault:
Tomko was legit injured & wasn't that sure he could put on a good performance. That's why Roode was put on standby.
Put Karen's botched promo down to just tv inexperience & not thinking it thru or concentrating. She's only on the TNA roster a while & still learning.
Scott Hall it seems got food poisoning & couldn't compete.
Samoa Joe was sent out by the production ppl to cut the promo & draw heat away from Hall's no-show.He had to try & divert attention from another Hall letdown. He's bound to be mad at being picked for that.
Gotta disagree that all the matches sucked tho !! I figure things got beyond the control of Dixie & JJ this time. And maybe they're focusing too much on trying to compete with WWE than just improving their own product.Just a thought !!
Rhino had injured his neck in his match at Impact & seeing he's had neck fusion surgery. He was worried about getting a major injury & putting him out of wrestling altogether. So he decided to back out of his match.

Hall no-showed every promotion he's ever been in, you don't know your wrestling history bud. There's a reason he's no longer employed with WWE, it's because he's an unreliable drunk.

As for the PPV, most internet smarks, a majority of which hate TNA to begin with and rated this as a bad PPV on paper I might add, thought it was a very solid PPV, and even hailed Team Joe v. Team Angle as the Match of the Night.

They knew whether Tomko was going to wrestle or not, a majority of the internet didn't, but he was booked, and he did wrestle, which leads me to believe that they knew if Tomko was going to wrestle or not.

Karen was probably trying to keep up appearances until Hall staggered in, and was probably told to say she saw Hall backstage by management, in hopes that he would show.

As for Rhino, he didn't "no-show," he had a neck injury and TNA knew about it and addressed it.

Samoa Joe didn't botch the promo, it is being hailed as the best genuine shoot ever. He went in business for himself because he was given the forum to do so.

WWE's had it's fair share of no-shows, and dickheads backstage demanding money just before curtain time. Warrior and Honky Tonk Man come to mind. Even more recently, Sabu no-showed MULTIPLE ECW shows, or showed up late, or without ring gear. You need to do your homework, kiddo, because you have no idea what you're talking about.

Yes, I would say so, Wolfe's first TNA PPV came off as amazingly good, 2 brilliant matches in terms of wrestling, great PPV all round, I thought, the 6 Sides of Steel match was also good

I thought that TP was decent compared the what WWE has been turning out.

Tomka was injured but he was already booked for TP prior to that. He was cleared to wrestle with time to spare

Karen Angle messing up her lines was prbabaly becasue they had been rehersed thinkin hall would be there and since it is live they could not clear it up. WWE messes up lines all the time. Pay attention.

Scott hall - That was TNA's fault he is not dependable and they knew that. There gample cost them on that.

Somoa Joe - Went a little off but what ever he had to talk off the top of his head.

Umm, remember No Mercy?

Remember Great American Bash 2004?

Remember Insurrexion 2002?

How about InVasion?
-----------------------------------------------
edit:

Steve Austin has no-showed for WWE numerous times, as well as Sabu. Terry Funk did in the early days, once leaving Vince a note saying "My horse is sick. I think it might die. I'm going home."

Did you ever see Insurrexion? Botchamania.

The entire InVasion storyline was botched from the start. Instead of paying off the contracts of Ric Flair, Goldberg, the nWo, Sting, and Bret Hart, the WWE made it seem like the best WCW had was Booker T and DDP. They also had ECW run by Stephanie McMahon. Now that's f*cked up.

Remember Billy Gunn and Chuck Palumbo's "Wedding"?

How about Moolah giving birth to a hand after banging Mark Henry?

Katie Vick?

Fake Trump?

Fake Rosie?

Fake Razor Ramon?

Fake Diesel?

The Gobbledy Gooker?

Bishoff and McMahon's hug?

"Bret screwed Bret"?

Great Khali, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion?

Big Dick Johnson, the male stripper?

I can go on if you want...

oh please. TNA didnt mess up anything. Rhyno and Scott Hall messed it up for no showing..TNA's wrestlers showed up though. not trying to bash the WWE but weren't Rhyno and Scott Hall originally apart of the WWE? then how was it TNA's fault that Rhyno or Hall didnt show?

TNA has potential but the politics backstage is what allows this stuff. and maybe just maybe if tna concentrates on tna and not wwe they would be much better as well they got the eric bishoff virus and thats what killed wcw
