It's real and its a blue malaysian coral snake.

It is a Blue Malayan Coral Snake, (Maticora bivirgata), a highly venomous Elapid from SE Asia.

Its some type of rat snake or racer but it is definitely REAL. Not from the U.S. though, maybe southeast Asia.
