Even if your program doesn't specifically call it an "Executive" MBA?

Also, do you think there is a huge benefit in adding an emphasis or focus to an MBA?

No, you can't. Its only an "Executive MBA" if that's what the program calls itself. A fancy way of saying Part-time MBA in some cases, but in others I think there is employer sponsorship of your getting your MBA.

Honestly, I don't think it matters. What matters is the school and what you studied.

Yes, I think there is a big benefit to adding a focus to your MBA. I think all programs require you to have an area of concentration. I've never heard of any General MBAs.

I did a double concentration in Finance & Marketing with my MBA, as well as a "Certificate in Electronic Commerce" (back in the dot com boom days) at Stern. Full time program.

No. Executive MBA is program where you need to have minimum job experience for 2-3 years depending on University. Some courses from IIMC require minimum experience of 10 years. The Faculty assumes all the students are in Manager role for 2-3 years.

It relies upon truly. some employer faculties assist you to pass to their grad college on your mba in case you have a bachelors degree that's in a similar field, like a bachelors degree in economics and in case you scored intense on the gmat. that's uncommon nonetheless as maximum employer faculties will require you to have a Bachelor of employer administration (BBA). bear in mind, regardless of way you pass you will want your bachelors degree first and function taken all the pre-reqs + gmat. which would be an entire of four years of be taught. I recommend working with an adviser who already has an mba.
