Let me give you 10 Reasons why hawaii sucks
1. Hawaii has the easiest schedule in Division 1 football.
2. They played 2 teams all year with a winning record.
3. The only major conference team they played was a 4-7 Washington team that was 7th in the Pac-10.
4. The combined record of the teams they played was 55-92
5. The only team they played that has been in the top 40 was Boise State.
6. Boise State had the 2nd easiest schedule in FBS
7. Colt Brennan passes the ball 50 times a game his stats aren't legit.
8. Hawaii is in the WAC.
9. The WAC is terrible and doesn't deserve a National championship contender.
10. Put Hawaii in the SEC. See what happens!!

Kapali, I had wanted to answer this question but after reading the responses it's almost not worth it. You can tell that those select few do not even have credible information. This is "Answers", you should at least have some sort of information to back what you say if you decide to bash a team. If not, you're just bashing for the sake of bashing.

I try to educate the ones that don't really know, but it falls on deaf ears...really sad. All it takes is for them to do a little bit of research and they just may start appreciating what Hawaii has done these past two years.

I take it back, I'll give you and answer, this is why a lot of people are against Hawaii. Ignorance and Pride. Plain and simple, they just don't feel like Hawaii is important enough to study. They only get their info from Sports Center and ESPN. Very sad being that Hawaii is an exciting team to watch. Perhaps after the Sugar Bowl???

No hate here.
I think Hawaii has come a long way from previous years. They indeed deserve a bowl game for a undefeated season. If they beat Georgia (and that's big IF...c'mon Georgia...c'mon...c'mon...let's be real now), then I think everyone will definitely give them the respect of a championship team.
Also I know if LSU played teams like Louisiana Tech, UL Monroe, Utah State, Idaho, New Mexico State, they wouldn't be anywhere even close to the BCS top 25 because of the severe beatings they would serve on those teams.

It has nothing to do with hate. It has to do with a bunch college/ university presidents who do not have enough balls to stand up to the NCAA and say we need a playoff. They all see Big $$$$$$$$$$ signs every where and it is ruining the game just as money has basically ruined the pro game. just watch what happens over the next few years. College football would rather shoot itself in the foot and lose the fans before they have to give up their "precious" bowl system. The real truth is that the only team that can have a legitimate claim right now to the national championship is Hawaii, they did not lose to anyone, and I have seen them play, they could beat LSU or OSU!!!!! Go Warriors! I am just a guy from florida, and I am a Seminole, so I have seen some of the best, and the Warriors have got it. I challenge the 2 supposed top 2 to play Hawaii and see where you get!!!!!!!

Hawaii merits to play in a considerable bowl if no longer for each and all the marbles. They have been unbeaten and sure i understand they did no longer play any genuine communities, blah blah blah. although i did no longer see any of the vast boys on the block going out of their thank you to time table undesirable previous Hawaii to their non-con time table. Too busy i assume lining as much as play powerhouses which contain Youngstown State or SW Missouri State. do no longer anticipate only because of the fact Hawaii performs in a susceptible convention that they do no longer stand a huge gamble against a school from a ''genuine'' convention. how many people actual theory that Boise State had a huge gamble against ok final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days?

Because they didn't play a ranked team besides a team that was in their crappy conference. A WAC team or any or any other small conference should have to jump through hoops if they want to be in a BCS bowl. What doesn't make sense is how Auburn (I'm a Georgia fan, by the way) can go undefeated in the SEC in 2004 and can't make a national title game, but two WAC teams on two consecutive years can go undefeated and make a BCS bowl. Doesn't make sense.

People think that they had an easy schedule, and they did but. They beat Boise State, and last year Boise State beat OU in the Fiesta Bowl. That from last year showed that there are some decent teams in the WAC. Hawaii has the highest scoring offense in the league. When they beat Georgia then people will wonder why weren't then in the championship, instead of a team with 2 losses.

Because people think that Hawaii didn't play anyone good all year. However, I think being undefeated, no matter who you play, is a big achievement. They deserve a BCS bowl.

Because Hawaii had an easy schedule. I just hope they get some respect if they beat Georgia.

Because like Boise State last year, and Utah the year before, if Hawaii wins, they have the only legitimate claim to the national title. That makes their team an obvious fraud, and they can't handle the fact that their loser teams can't win it in a fair game.
