I have black hair and I could probably use a bit of make-up but you won't be catching me with any on... if they called me 'emo' I'd pick them up by the collar so they were eye-to-eye with me and I'd ask them what they meant by 'emo', and if they said it was a good thing, I'd just drop them back down but if they said 'it means you're a prancing fairy' or some such thing, I'd promptly fling them across the room and then run over there and start stomping on them. There. That's about it.

No, because my definition of what emo is and the stereotype that people tell me are two different things. I don't really have any problems with emo the way I view it. But I look nothing like what people say is emo, so I don't have to worry about it!

Yes.I have lighter hair and don't wear make up but because I wear black and have tattoos of dragons and skulls and the like I get labelled as emo. It's called goth stupid! Get it right or don't even try to label!

no. In my day were all called punk. Even though there were many different levels. We wanted to be called new romantics or new wavers. Emo is just the newest buzz word the same stuff that we did in the mid to late 80's. We just listened to Depeche Mode, The Cure and UltraVox

I don't think I'd really consider it an insult, but it would be annoying. Considering I don't dress like that, it would just be stupid for someone to call me that.

I wouldn't pay any attention to that and the ones who usually give others labels like that often don't have much room to talk themselves. People sometimes call me stuck-up simply because I am rather shy but I don't pay any attention to them.

No, I'd consider it an insult if someone called me a sheep.
