Haha, I got a little story about this from a friend one time.
A friend will greet your parents by mr. and mrs. Maybe first names if your parents insist.
A true friend calls them mom and dad without thinking about it.
A friend comes into your house and asks if they can have a glass of water.
A true friend makes the statement that they are getting water and gets it on their own.

A friend will bail you out of jail after a wild night and having a little too much fun according to the law.
A true friend will be sitting beside you laughing histerically because you finally got caught while you wait for parents to come get you.
There are variations on the last one like,
A friend will cover for you while you burry an evil ex boyfriends body.
A true friend is helping you push the sack of bull into a hole during the dead of night.
Now that one is a joke but goes to show the dedication. I like the question! Hope you all got a kick out of this!

A true friend is someone who will not be judgmental and loves you unconditionally. If you don't talk to them for a year, when you are back in touch with them it's like you never missed a day....

Well last time I had a friend and this friend was a friend of a friend who had a friend that had another friend whose friend I didn't know of was a friend of someone elses friend and that friend was seriously not a friend of mine because he befriended somebody elses friend's friend and that wasn't very friendly. It was a good day.
