How is this even a question. The Sopranos is quite possibly the best show of all time, duh. Flight is great, so is Entourage and Curb your Enthusiasm. But common dude, are you serious!

Rome is the best out there. Hands down. The visuals and cinematography is OUTSTANDING. I truly felt like I was living at the time of Ancient Roman Republic. Oh the writers truly researched for every minute detail in lifestyle and society was evidently scrutinized. Oh and wait till you get to the acting! They chose unforgettable and charismatic characters to play our favorite historical and fictional figures! I never get tired of watching Pullo indulge in his amusing debauchery neither do I stop being impressed by Octavian's unusual intelligence and his actor played the perfect sagacious politician Octavian truly was (props for the younger one too!). The storyline based on history itself, with a couple of changes, is addicting. If only they allowed Rome in school, then I'd have fun learning about Ancient Rome. The fictional lives of Pullo and Lucius Vorenus are also unforgettable and I loved their relationship as brothers and friends. It swayed me to every emotion it set out to bring out of its viewers and I feel this series is WAY too underrated.

The only HBO series I liked was Oz and I still miss that show but happy now that I have all six seasons on DVD
