if i'm going to meet a girl iv'e been taliking to for about a year now?--we want to see each other.spend some time there--any suggestions on a nice hotel with a pool?--any beaches there ?--or things to do at night?

I know Cavite by heart so I suggest the following places:
1.) Island Cove in Kawit Cavite. It has complete amenities, pool, 4-star hotel, restaurants, mini zoo, spa etc. It is a resort with first class amenities. http://www.islandcovephil.com/
2.) Tagaytay Mountains. Taal Vista Lodge or Days Hotel will do your budget. The place is cool and you can see views from one of the smallest volcanoes in the world. http://www.taalvistahotel.com/home.shtml
3.) Caylabne Beach Resort in Ternate is an exhilarating resort, Puerto Azul or Pico de Loro. http://www.caylabne.com.ph/
There are so many places in Cavite but for your safety, pleasure and comfort I suggest don't compromise quality with these hotels and resorts. You won't regret it. Thesse places are considerably cheaper than the first rated hotels in Metro Manila. There are other cheap hotels and resorts but I guess for a tourist, these places must be recommended.
Cavite is only 1 hour to 2 hours (depending on what place in Cavite), from Manila International Airport.

A good Tagaytay Hotel with a pool is Day's Inn. Also, it is rather cold these days but the pool in the hotel is heated.
There are no beaches in Tagaytay. Although you could do a day trip to the various beaches in Nasugbu or Matabungkay. They would be just about 1 1/2 hours from Tagaytay. Your girlfriend will know how to get there, and would most likely suggest Matabungkay if you ask. Matabungkay also has hotel accommodations.
There isn't much to do in Tagaytay late in the evening, although you can have coffee or drinks in the restaurants along the ridge. It would be nice to retire early, blanketed by fog and the cool mountain air, with your beloved beside you.

Cavite has a lot of good golf & country clubs (exclusive to members however) while Tagaytay is known for sight seeing, having a picnic, and dining. i couldn't suggest a nice hotel in either Cavite or Tagaytay because since most people when looking for the best place with a pool and a beach... end up in Punta Fuego. you can just look it up in the internet and see what they offer.

Tagaytay is a nice place, very romantic with nature on your view but no beaches. If beaches is what you is after with its better you go to Anilao Batangas. Its very near to Manila & you will definitely enjoy it.

tagaytay's pretty nice..no beaches tho coz its near a volcano..manila nightlife is nice..

It's a nice place with lots of things to do, but there are no beaches there, it's way above sea level.
