Shawn Marion. Better defender, better rebounder, heck he has been the face of the Suns pre-Nash and Stoudamire era. He has been the go to guy and their no.1 option before the arrival of those guys, something Lewis is not. He's always overshadowed by the superstars, Allen and Howard.

Lewis is a nice complimentary player and nothing else.

Hope this helps.

Tough Question. They both have pretty much the same stats only Rashard scores a bit more and Marion garbs more rebounds. I would have to say Shawn Marion, simply because he plays with heart, but he is not a better all around player than Rashard Lewis. Rashard Lewis is a better mid range shooter, ball handler and has a better one on one game, but Rashard lacks the killer instinct that it takes to be a winner. If he can learn to want to win then I think he could be a winner.

Shawn Marion definitely. He's a perennial all star and all NBA defensive team. He still puts up 20 and 10 despite the presence of Amare and Nash.
