A 1996 Chevy Cavalier. It had less than 100,000 miles on it and was owned by an elderly man and we purchased it from him after he traded it in literally a day after. Right off the bat it needed a new multi-function switch and new muffler hanger. After that, it needed new brakes (maintenance, can't blame the car really), the air conditioning was acting up and needed to be repaired, window motor was acting up, and there were a lot of other quirks that I can't remember at the moment as it was a while ago that we had it.
My favorite cars were my 1998 Nissan Altima GXE and my current car, my 1995 Acura Integra LS. I had the Nissan for 2 years and drove it hard and it never gave me any trouble. It never broke down, never had any major problems (just a leaky gasket and needed the alternator rebuilt right before I sold it but it still had some life left in it), and my 1995 Acura hasn't had a single problem yet since I've owned it, just little things like a leaking cam plug and a thermostat (arguably maintenance). But those were both existing problems from when I purchased the car so I don't count those.

By far the worst car I ever owned was a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am with a 2.4L 4 cyl. motor. The car itself was fine, but those motors are junk, and that's saying something because I'm a die hard GM guy.
My favorite car....hmmm...I'd have to say it's a toss up. I have a restored 1987 Monte Carlo SS, and I had a 2001 Chevy Silverado 4x4. The Monte Carlo has a lot of sentimental value since it was my first car and my first father-son project. The pickup was what I drove to college last year. I loved the power and the fact that I could drive it anywhere anytime without having to worry about a thing. It got decent mileage too.

Worst car: a 1987 Yugo GV. Why was it the worst? It was a Yugo, 'nuff said.
Best car: my 1993 Cadillac Seville. I do not know why it is the best. I am just in love with it. I would rather be sitting in my car, parked or driving, than be anywhere else, including at home. I own several cars, 2 boats, a truck, and a plane, but I get this different feeling whenever I am in my Seville.
(btw, her name is Shadow, she's got over 300k miles and still runs and looks like new.)

That would be my '88 Toyota Corolla wagon. It had the smallest engine available, the radio didn't fit (and it only had two poor quality speakers, it could be loud but not clear at all) small tires and became very unstable on the highway. It's upsides were that it was mechanically reliable, fuel efficient (when it didn't have more than one passenger), and a great car to learn how to drive a stick shift.

Never owned a car personally, but the one I hated driving was the Chrysler van where I couldn't see the corners from the drivers's seat, and I like the camry I'm driving these days because it's not so unweildy.

A 1983, two toned blue Lincoln Continental with faded paint, shag carpet, gear indicator was waay off(like if i was in park it would say drive), belched black smoke if i let it sit a few days before i started it up, windshield wipers that came on whenever, four non working window motors, cracked leather seats that burned your a** in the summer...and it got about 10 miles to the gallon.
But for some reason, I miss it! You could have a picnic on the hood.

Worst was a 68 Rambler Rebel (carburetor from Hell)
Best, 97 Chevy Prism. Not exactly heart stopping excitement, but it was a solid very dependable ride.
Wish I still had it.
