I would miss the beginning. Because you can always catch up with the plot as the movie progresses. However I won't be able to stand it if I don't see the end of a movie, that's usually the best part! Not to mention, I'll be left wondering what happened in the end, and that will just make me feel incomplete.

I agree.
I would rather miss the part that I can always watch later and doesn't spoil it for me.

If we're talking about missing part of a movie at an actual theater... I'd just go to a later show if I missed the beginning. I can't imagine why I'd ever have to miss the ending in a theater, unless there was an emergency of some kind. The only other reason I can think of for leaving early otherwise is if the movie sucked. .

While the beginning generally defines the plot and sometimes shows almost the ending scene, the end is what wraps it all up. So missing the beginning would be better.

Although, I would rather see the beginning and end while missing the middle. That way you would know how it started and ended, just not exactly how they got there.

I never watch a movie if I've already missed the beginning or if I know that I will have to leave before it's over. However, if there is a gun wielding maniac forcing me to choose, I would also choose to miss the beginning for the same reason.

Depends on the movie. I HATE missing the beginning, but there are several movies that I just don't care about by the time it gets close to the end.

If it's a good movie, I'd hate to miss the ending more

I would want to miss the beginning.

This has happened to me when I was watching King Kong. I've watched this movie three times, and I still don't know what happened at the end!!!

I agree with you. In the olden days, theaters were not cleared out at the end of a movie. People entered whenever they wanted to and could sit through the movie again until they got to the part where they walked in. I kinda liked that. Ah! The "Good Old Days!"

I'm right with you, the beginning. Even though some movies have had crap endings, makes me wish I'd miss the entire thing!
