Ok, I heard most technical jobs and many state office jobs are out. What jobs will be in demand during a depression, meaning there will be a job?

Public safety (medical, fire fighters and law enforcement) professions, as well as public utility service jobs--all highly regarded by the Government, will likely have such employees be taken care "decently" for the duration of the depression.

Worst jobs, of course, will be white collar professions within the stock markets and all levels of banking. To bare degrees, these professions will be eased by Government shielding---but expect epic sized layoffs.

Also seeing epic sized layoffs will be employees in the textile industry; farming industry won't avoid huge economic bullets, either.

This all comes on the heels of The New World Order, crafted and designed by the Bush legacy---and blessed by Ronald Regan.

Defiantly health care. And the good news is that you don't need years of education to get your foot in the door.Home support is going to be huge over the next 30 or 40 years. The jobs don't pay all that well though. In Vancouver where I live home support workers are getting around $17 an hour which sounds just hunky- dorry if you live in a southern state but here you get by. Nursing home aides do some better with an average wage of just below $20. If you are fortunate enough to get a gig in a hospital you can make $22 an hour plus health holiday and sick benefits. Ive been at it for about 20 yrs and find it to be a very rewarding way to pay the bills
Currently in my area the Resident Care Aide program has about a 1 year waiting list

Most farms are owned by big companys, because food never goes out of style. clothing is made in huge textile mills.

Getting into the medical field is a sure winner. many fields are opening up and all that is required other than a high school diploma is a cerificate specilizing in an area. Such as CNA, medical records, X-ray technician, EKG techs.
Also insurance demands grow during hard economic times.
