Why do I loose my wireless internet connection everytime I open Limewire?

Using Verizon FIOS with a Belkin wireless 802.11b Plus adpt. This is the only time I loose my connection... when I turn on Limewire.

There is a good chance Verizon is blocking your Internet connection when you try to use Limewire. Internet Service Providers (ISP's) frown upon file sharing networks. In order to deter their customers from using these networks, they block their use. Verizon isn't the only ISP which is blocking access to file sharing networks, Comcast has been doing that for close to a year now.
