The last thing to freak me was Salems Lot (little dead boy scraping at the window) I was 12. I would have loved to have seen the Blair Witch Project in the States and got caught up in the hype of the thing...by the time it got here I was like 'meh', still a very good and almost original story. Growing up in the final days of the cold war gave me a fear of nuclear war and 'Threads' is easily the most terrifying thing I have ever seen.

Session 9. it's not exactly a well known film but this is seriously creepy. it's about a group of guys that are hired to refurbish an old asylum to turn it into luxury apartments, but one finds some old recordings of interviews with the patients and another finds some belongings of the patients ,behind a brick in a wall. then people start dying.
From what i remember there is no gore, it's just a really creepy film. the creepiest thing though is that they used a real abandoned asylum to film it in and used it in the same condition they found it.

Child's Play used 2 scare me when I was younger, now it just makes me laugh (though I shouldn't say that coz Chucky might be listening). I wouldn't watch The ring if I was on my own. That little puppet on a bike in Saw scares me, Oh and the pig mask. Wolf Creek is scary coz it's apparently based on true events, If u ain't seen it I recommend it!

When A Stranger Calls (The Original). The part when the cop calls back and say "get out of the house, he is calling from inside the house", I'm getting chills just thinking about it.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the original version)
It was just so gritty and freaky. Not to mention that unlike a lot of supernatural type movies there are actually sickos like this out there and they are waiting for people like me!

Halloween (I was only 8 when I saw it)
The Exorcist (again, 8)
Poltergeist (age 9)
I got hooked on horror flicks at a young age...it took a couple years before they didn't freak me and were just entertaining instead.
