Can Betta fish see clearly?

I just got him today and it seems like he is watching me!

Bettas have excellent vision, which they use to hunt insects sitting on the surface of the water. They are very intelligent, and almost always recognize their owner as a source of food after a week or two. Feeding it 3-4 pellets twice daily and frozen bloodworms or brineshrimp once a week is great to keep your Betta healthy and active.
