Did this actually happen (with witnesses), or did you dream this and now you can't recollect whether it actually happened or not?
If you have witnesses, great. However, you still don't have an explanation for the breaking glass. While psychic powers is one explanation, another explanation is that a UFO flew over head. In fact, the list of explanations is endless if you have a good imagination. A more down-to-earth explanation, though, is that the glass had hairline fractures growing over time, and thermal stresses & physical relaxation finally caused the glass to bust apart.

Maybe you sent out an electrical charge..you know like when you touch somebody after dragging your feet on carpet etc. Or maybe it was just time for that glass to go. Not long ago I picked up a coffee cup by the handle and the handle came off. I know that 's not the same thing. I wouldn't try "practicing" doing this..you might lose your job.
EDIT...psi....What's going on with you ?? LOL

Well first you assume that such supernatural things as glass and water exist. Why resort to this magical thinking when so many wonderful natural things exist?
Of course you shattered this so called glass anytime you let your concentration down (loose hand, clear mind) any thing you are seeing with your imagination may fade away.
I am aware that millions of people have reported seeing both water and glass but human testimony is useless as evidence. Of course there are photos and videos but these are all obvious fakes. People have shown me both glass and water but I'm sure this is just me expecting to see this because they have told me that is what I am supposed to see.
Oh also you are hallucinating, abusing drugs, have a mental disorder, possibly temporal lobe damage that causes you to hallucinate, and interpret normal things as paranormal because you have no understanding of how the world works.
OK, for those of you who don't know:
I AM BEING SARCASTIC.
It is possible that there was some normal explanation like a very small hairline crack in the glass that the water caused enough pressure on to make the glass shatter.
It is also possible that somehow you (or the environment) caused some form of energy (like an opera singers high note or other high vibration frequency) to cause the glass to shatter. I agree with the previous answer that you probably shouldn't worry about a single incident and only be concerned if it repeats.
There is a person named Matthew Manning (link below) that started with uncontrolled poltergeist activity and later in his life learned to control these abilities (or at least so he claims) I have provided a link for you below.

It exploded because you were concentrating sooo hard to catch it (and the conditions of the glass was right). Intelligence is Will...this strength projected from your solar plexus (yellow chakra) - to your hand - and out in the form of electromagnetic power; rather than manipulating your hand to catch it.
Meditate and focus your Will, and you will achieve great results.

I wasn't there so I don't know what happened. It's plausible there is some missing information in your story or that something happened that you didn't notice. Either that or you have super powers.
I'm still trying to figure out how you can have an empty glass of water.

There is a good chance that you are just dreaming! I sometimes dream, but when I wake up, I can't tell if my dream was real or not!
