I would like to point out this is not what consequence you would recommend but what actually takes place. I am writing a newspaper article and am not sure on consequences! Thanks a bunch

In Florida this has happened, and the results were bad enough to make the national news, about 12 times recently. They are tried as adults. In once instance where the man died they all got 25-30 year sentences except one of the perpetrators, who testified against the others and received a much lighter sentence.

It depends upon how badly the homeless person was hurt, their prior offenses, their age, the weapons used, etc.

Depends on if the homeless person dies or not. Maybe life, maybe 30 years. its a minimum of 10 years, minor or not, that i know for sure.
