Yeah actually, I probably would. I don't know why but I would. I mean they diddn't tell you for a reason right? I still think they deserve to know. It is about THEM; they deserve to know. Now what are you still doing here? Go, tell me (cough) I mean them.

Depending on what it was and how I found out... maybe.

If it were something like they're broke or ill and I found out by seeing a financial or medical statement lying around in their home, then no. I'd take that to my grave.

If it were something they confided it to someone else and I found out through a person who was telling me as gossip, I probably would tell them. Only because if the gossip told me, they told others and my friend should know if private info is being spread about them.

Unless it were pretty likely that they would somehow find out another way that I knew and then be even more humiliated and embarrassed. If I were fairly certain that they were unaware of my knowledge, I would try and take it to my grave, but if it were something that affected my trust or respect for that person, it would be pretty hard for me to act completely the same around them, and it might affect the decisions I made about that relationship.

No - they are probably embarrassed about it so just leave it be. If you tell them you know you could jeopardize not only your relationship with them but their relationship with the person who told you and many others. As the saying goes " Let sleeping dogs lie."

Nope. If they wanted you to know, they would've told you. If they told somebody else (knowing that person would tell you), still say nothing until they talk to you about it first. If they get mad at you for not letting them know you know, you can always say "YOU never told me, so I figured you didn't want to talk about it with me." If they ask you how you found out about it, don't reveal your source, just say "If you didn't want people to find out about it, be more careful with who you tell stuff to." Then protect your source. That way, they'll know (and so will your source) that YOU can be trusted and confided in.

No. I wouldn't want them to be embarrassed or uncomfortable around me so I'd keep my mouth shut.

Nope. No reason to. Just be happy with the knowledge you have and let them have their way.
