how to remove permanent marker stains of a wood desk?

my daughter was coloring with a black sharpie and the ink went through the paper and onto my boss' wood desk. Please HELLLP!!!

Try green rubbing alcohol.

The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser works on that kind of stuff really well. It will literally erase the ink right off the wood.

i'd say nail polish remover, rubbin alcohol, the magic eraser brush, maybe a soft scrubbin pad too.
