I live in the UK - we get Fox News as part of our digital TV package. I watched it once and it was horrible, they could have said the Moon was made of Cream Cheese for all the accuracy there was in what they were reporting. It was totally America-centred and what little of the rest of the world was reported was heavily spin-influenced. No wonder most Americans don't have a clue about any country other than their own. Scary.

I have seen the vids. Rupert Murdoch admitted to manipulating the news in support of Bush's illegal war. You can not trust anything on FIXED NOISE. It is all Propaganda and many buy into it. Remember when Cheney said if he were going from city to city his amenities had to have a room with the FOX news channel switched on when he walked into the room? Yeah, nothing like American Pravada or Izvestia right? News straight out of Goebbels playbook for Hitler, and the U.S.S.R. news for the Russians during the cold war. No surpirse here I have known it for a long time.
BTW, FOX published a story in December of 2001. that said BIN LADEN ALREADY DEAD. Imagine that? So why did we go to Iraq? What was that all about. Amazing!

He who pays the money has the power

In the UK at the end of the day it seems to be the old school tie so the Editor has the last say of what is published and the reporters still need a job so they comply with the acceptable view (no matter what they really think)

It's controlled and dangerously so. It's true that most news has some kind of controlling authority, but FoxNews is a proper news dictatorship.

They are no more "controlled" than a certain network" news" show that produced bogus documents to support a weak story 50 days from a presidential election.

It's common knowledge that Fox is biased and unreliable.

People who enjoyit know what they're getting, they watch because it supports their viewpoint.

Newsflash. ALL NEWS NETWORKS ARE CONTROLLED OR BIASED IN SOME WAY TOWARDS ONE POLITICAL IDEOLOGY OR THE OTHER.

Just look at the left wing liberal feckless BBC if you want another example.
